Pastor Chuck Smith
President of Calvary Chapel Bible College
Pastor Chuck Smith in 1965, began his ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Only twenty-five people attended. What began as a small chapel has now grown into a church that seats over 2000 and is filled almost nightly. From the beginning, Pastor Chuck welcomed all, young and old, without judgment, placing his emphasis on the teaching of the Word of God. His simple, yet sound, biblical approach draws 25,000 people weekly.
Calvary Chapel Bible College is under the direction of Pastor Chuck Smith, the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, California. Pastor Chuck is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ in the ministry of His calling. He is heard nationwide, daily on The Word for Today radio program and is the author of many books and videos.
Pastor Brian Brodersen
Vice-President of Calvary Chapel Bible College
Pastor Brian Brodersen, has taught various courses here at the Bible College. Pastor Brian is known for his clear and challenging exposition of the Scriptures. Both he, and his wife Cheryl, teach the Word of God not only through classes, but with their lives as well.
Pastor Brian has been involved in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. He has served as Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Vista in Southern California, and also as Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Westminster in London, England. Brian has been extensively involved in missionary work throughout various parts of Europe. Along with directing the Bible College, he also serves as Associate Pastor to Chuck Smith at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, California. Brian is the featured speaker on the Bible teaching program “Back to Basics,” as well as the co-host of the live call-in program “Pastors Perspective.”
Pastor David Shirley
Director of Calvary Chapel Bible College
Pastor David Shirley came to us via London where he served on staff at Calvary Chapel Westminster, in London, England. From 1979-1999 he was Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Fayetteville Christian Schools.
David graduated from Columbia International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Education and a Masters of Education from U.S.C. Columbia. He commonly teaches Revelation, History of Redemption, Christian Living, and Greek. He is the Senior Pastor of the campus church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs.

Charles Celaya
Audio-Visual Department, Worship Leader
Chaz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from CCBC and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in music from the University of Redlands. He has been in the Audio-visual department at the college since 2004. Chaz commonly teaches Sound and Recording.
Pastor Jeff Christianson
Registrar
Jeff has been serving with CCBC and it's extensions since 1995. His ministry background includes service as a volunteer Chaplain's Assistant in U.S. Army while enlisted; a full time Hospice Chaplain in Denver, Colorado; and an Assisting Pastor with Living in Christ Ministries (LICM) and the Chaplain Ray Prison Ministry in Dallas, TX. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor's degree from CCBC and a Master of Arts degree from Faith Evangelical Seminary. He is a certified Biblical Counselor with the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC). He currently serves here as the school's Registrar and is an Elder at the campus church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs.
Jason Cunningham
Dean of Men
Jason graduated from CCBC with a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies. He has also attained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Jason is involved in the Prison Ministry at the college and commonly teaches the New Testament book of Colossians.
Pastor Joseph Holden
Director, Distance Learning Education
Pastor Joe began teaching at CCBC as the college introduced an Apologetics program in 1997. Joe now oversees the Distance Learning Education Department and commonly teaches apologetics-oriented classes such as Apologetic Evangelism, Bibliology, World Religions, Systematic Theology and John. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, and a Master of Divinity from Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina, with concentration in Apologetics.
Robin E. Lewis
Accountant
Robin earned her Associate’s Degree in Theology from CCBC. Robin has been involved in women’s, youth, and ushering ministries since 1994. Robin also started serving at the Bible College soon after graduating, 2003 and as well as administering the general accounting for the college, Robin commonly teaches Ephesians and Ruth & Esther for women.
Pastor Mark Schwartz
Director, Finance
Pastor Mark has been serving at Calvary Chapel Bible College and it’s extensions since 1994. He currently assists students in their finances, assigns students their Practical Christian Ministry (M199) tasks, and co-ordinates opportunities for community service in the Murrieta/Temecula Valley. He commonly teaches Proverbs. Mark also serves as an elder at the campus church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs.
Pastor Tom Mauch
Teacher
Pastor Tom comes to us from Honolulu, Hawaii where he oversaw the CCBC extension campus. He also served as an Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel of Honolulu. Tom is currently teaching a variety of courses at the Bible College in Murrieta which includes Psalms, Marriage Talks and Parables of Jesus. Pastor Tom has been teaching at the college since 1995. Pastor Tom also is currently serving as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship.
Jim Shirley
Director of Informaton Services
Jim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Media, a Master’s of Science in Information Systems and Masters Certificates in Networking. Prior to CCBC, Jim served as the Director of Information Systems/Networking at Fayetteville Technical Community College in NC and the Program Chairperson of the Cisco Academy Program.
Pastor Luman Wing
Extension Campus Director
Pastor Lu has a Bachelor’s Degree as well as a Ph.D. He is a microbiologist and he also teaches at Azusa Pacific University. He has been teaching at CCBC since 2004. He commonly teaches Numbers, Leviticus, Science and the Bible and also the gospel of Luke.
Joel Wingo
Librarian
Joel graduated from CCBC and grew up on the mission field in Northern Mexico. Joel also graduated from Faith Seminary with a Bachelor of Theology degree. Joel started serving at the Bible college as an intern in 2002 and has been the Librarian and a teacher since 2003. He commonly teaches Outreach Spanish and Deuteronomy. He also oversees “Through the Bible Survey” class by Pastor Chuck Smith.
Brent Yim
Practical Christian Service Director
Brent graduated from CCBC with an Associate's Degree in Theology. He has been serving at the college since graduating in 2003. Brent also pastors the Junior High students at the on-campus church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs. Brent is also involved in the Prison Ministry Outreach at the college. Brent commonly teaches through the Minor Prophets.
Brandy Valdivia

Brandy graduated from CCBC with an Associate's in Theology. Brandy has been serving at CCBC since 1999 and has been working in the Children's Ministry at Calvary Chapel Hot Springs since 2000. Brandy commonly teaches Children's Ministry.

Sam comes to CCBC from KRTM, the on-campus radio station, where he worked as a Broadcast Engineer. Sam works on the Bible College Computer Network, E-College, Student Database and with the management of our websites.

Candace graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College in the Fall of 2004 with an Associate’s Degree in Theology. Candace is involved in the on-campus Church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs in Murrieta in the Children’s Ministry.

Christianne graduated from CCBC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. She has been serving at the college since 1999. Christianne serves the college by assisting the Registrar.

Mark graduated from CCBC in the Spring of 2005. Mark is active in the campus Church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs teaching and discipling Junior High youth.
Leslie Olsen

Leslie graduated from CCBC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. She has an Associate’s Degree in Math and Science and in Humanities. She started serving at the Bible college in 2003.
Sheryl Young

Sheryl graduated from CCBC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. Sheryl has been serving in the Admissions Office since 2002. The Admissions Office is responsible for processing new student applications and overseeing foreign students attending CCBC.

Cheryl is the Vice-President of Calvary Chapel Bible College, Brian Brodersen’s wife. She teaches women’s ministry classes including Women in Leadership, Sound Doctrine and Foundations of Faith.

Pastor Jonathan teaches some Old and New Testament books including Galatians/Ephesians, Isaiah and Minor Prophets
Pastor Reggie Gradias
Teacher
Pastor Reggie became a Christian in 1971 during “the Jesus Movement” in the little chapel at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. After serving as an Associate Pastor and Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley for 20 years, Reggie and his family were called to the mission field to help plant Calvary Chapel in Cardiff, Wales. Now back in California after 5 years, Reggie oversees the worship ministry and commonly teaches worship and the Life of David. Reggie also oversees the worship ministry at the on-campus church, Calvary Chapel Hot Springs, Murrieta.
Pastor Miles DeBenedictis

Pastor Miles attended CCBC in 1998. As an Assistant Pastor, Miles has overseen youth and children’s ministries, home fellowships and School of Ministry. In 2000 and 2001 he served as an Assistant Pastor with Worship Generation and most recently taught alongside David Guzik in Siegen, Germany. Miles is again serving with Calvary Chapel Escondido. Miles commonly teaches the gospel of John.
Pastor Rod Thompson

Pastor Rod and his family have just returned from the mission field after 15 years. Rod pastored and helped plant churches in Hungary, Serbia and Austria. He also oversaw the Calvary Chapel Bible College and Conference Center in Austria and in Hungary for the last 7 years. Rod is the Director of The Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Murrieta and commonly teaches Acts.

Pastor Larry is involved in Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship’s Children’s Ministry. He teaches Children’s Ministry at CCBC.
Pastor Mike Madigan

Pastor Mike has been the Pastor of Calvary Chapel Julian since 1988. In 1978 Mike was saved. He earned a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies from CCBC. He started teaching at CCBC in Vista in 1995. Since then he has taught Matthew and Daniel here in Murrieta.
Pastor Daniel Johnston

Pastor Dan has a Master’s Degree in Theology from Dallas Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He also has an Adult Education Credential from the University of California at Riverside. Dan has been involved in ministry since 1972. He currently teaches 1st Corinthians.
Pastor John Millhouse

Pastor John came to know the Lord at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in 1971. The Lord used him to start Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley in 1982. He has been pastoring the church since then. John started teaching in 1994 and currently teaches Pastoral Epistles.
Pastor Gary Nelson

Pastor Gary has a Bachelor’s Degree from Biola University and a Master’s Degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has pastored two churches in Kansas. In 1988 the Lord used him to start Calvary Chapel Temecula where he still ministers. He currently teaches Ephesians.
Linda Shirley

Linda is Dave Shirley’s wife as well as a teacher at CCBC. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Columbia Bible College. She teaches women’s classes such as Proverbs 31 and Disciplines of a Godly Woman.
Pastor Clark Van Wick

Pastor Clark attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Vista and is currently the Pastor of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship in Temecula, CA. He has been the Senior Pastor since 1994 when the Lord grew a Bible study into a church. He teaches Acts and 1st and 2nd Thessalonians.
