At Calvary Chapel Bible College it is our desire that all would draw closer to Jesus and grow daily in His grace. As we grow in Christ-likeness, we will be less concerned about pleasing ourselves and more concerned about pleasing God and being a blessing to others.

Most of us are not crazy about rules and regulations, but we do need guidelines. In the same way as traffic rules are necessary so that we will not be driving in a hundred different directions and running into each other, so are our on campus rules.

Our desire is to build up our brothers and sisters by allowing their focus to be on Christ, and not ourselves. Even though we may have the 'right' in the eyes of the world to choose how we look, or dress in any way we like, but by the law of love we forfeit all rights to the self-life. This may sound radical, but it is the everyday cost of discipleship.

This season in the lives of those who come to Calvary Chapel Bible College is an opportunity to not only grow spiritually, but to be challenged practically in the ability to love others and to consider others better than ourselves especially when we consider that, in most cases, there can be between 6-8 people in each dorm room. This can be quite a challenge.

Dorm Room Living Campus housing is available to single students without dependent children who are attending school on a full-time basis. All campus residents must be enrolled for a minimum of 17 credits. On campus students must be enrolled in M199 (Practical Christian Ministry), Morning Devotions, Friday Lectures, Sunday Night Chapel, and the appropriate Bible Survey class.

Note: We are unable to accommodate families. Off-campus students need to secure housing on an individual basis. We will be happy to provide any apartment or room for rent information that we have. Students are assigned a bunk as well as a small closet, and bathroom storage space. Please limit what you bring as you will be sharing the room with other students and the space is very limited. Food is not allowed in the dorm rooms for sanitation reasons and for pest and rodent control. However, there are individual storage bins and limited refrigerator space for food located in the student dining area. Sorry, no pets, either!

Curfew
All students will be held to the campus curfews of 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. All students must be in bed with lights out by 12 a.m. Off-campus students must leave the campus by this time. There is no curfew on the weekends, Friday through Saturday, however security will still take note of those who are outside of their dorms for accountability's sake.

Quiet Times
Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Personal bunk lights may be left on, but overhead lights must beturned off in the Dorm room. There is no talking, laughing etc., including talking on cell phones, in or around the dorms after 10:00 pm. This time has been set aside to allow for sleep, personal devotions, study or prayer.

Visitors
The student may have visitors stay after obtaining prior approval as follows:
1. Approval from Dorm Steward & roommates
2. Obtain a Dorm Guest Request Form at least 3 days prior to the visit.
3. If the guest is under 18, they must have a Parental Consent Form signed.
4. Once permission is granted, there is a $10.00 charge per night. If your guest plans to eat in the cafeteria, they must purchase a meal ticket from the Conference Center lobby. Guests may stay for a maximum of 3 nights. The student is responsible for their guest and should make sure that the guest is conversant with on-campus rules of behavior and dress codes.
